The first race of the Cycle Centre 2008/09 winter series got underway at Mont Rossignol last Sunday with a keen field of 39 riders taking to the start line. With clear but damp conditions, the tough Mont Rossignol course was set to test the fitness levels of every rider. Don't forget that it's course cutting at Hamel's Land this weekend! |

For all those new and prospective riders, we've provided a few hints and tips to help you enjoy and get the most out of the club rides over the winter months - this may not cover everything but if you turn up to one of our rides, there'll be lots of friendly people on hand to help. |

New members are always welcome and it's easy to join in whatever your ability or ambitions. We meet year round each Saturday at La Mare, St Clement at 9am for the club run. From October to February we also have a Sunday club run starting outside Norman's in Commercial Buildings just down from the steam clock at 9.30 am. If you're interested in our club or cycling in Jersey just turn up at one of our events or email info@ccc.je and someone will get back to you (usually) within 24 hours. If you're unsure of how to start or have any concerns whatsoever, you may prefer to telephone; look on the contacts page for a list of friendly people who will be more than happy to help. |
