As the Duo Normand approaches, the teams make the most of the sunny evening to perfect their technique. Well, apart from Tony Richomme (to ride with Colin Perry) who was organising, Mike Harris (Steve Greig) who was on holiday and Perry McGuire (Simon Fenton) who managed to break his bike before the start.

Steve Goaziou and Ali Cann win in a time of 20:58 although Steve Greig, riding on his own records the fastest time of the evening; 20:24.
