Road race divisional allocations 2006

Here's information from VSJ's Bob Cabot:

With regard to VSJ organised road races, there will be three separate races which will be run similtaneously based on three divisions. They will not be handicapped events. The intention is to reduce the size of the field for the second race and to give Ladies, Juniors and older Vets the chance of a competitive race. Below is a provisional list of the riders in each division that has been drawn up based on performances in 2005. Riders will be permitted to ride in a higher division if they wish, however, they will not be allowed to drop a division.

Distances for the VSJ RRs will be as follows:
12th Mar - Hougue Bie - 10/8/6 laps
9th Apr - Mont Cambrai - 6/5/4 laps
30th Apr - Bal Tab - 10/8/6 laps
6th Aug - Jay Morris RR - Hougue Bie - Scratch Race 9 laps.

Circuit Races will follow the usual format - 50mins Div 1, 30mins Div 2 & 3.

Please let Bob know if he has missed anyone who should be included. The list is not set in stone, however, it will assist the race organisers if riders know in advance and are content with the division they have been allocated.
