The Jersey Cycling Association 2007/8

The Jersey Cycling Association (JCA) is the representative body of cycle racing in Jersey. This is the body that sets the selection criteria, and teams, for the Island Games and the Commonwealth Games. It is made up of a secretary, a treasurer, two delegates from eligible member bodies in the Island with the president and vice-president rotating between member bodies on a two-year term of office. Currently there are only two members; Velo Sport Jersey and the Caesarean Cycling Club.

The Education, Sport and Culture Committee, the government department responsible for sport, do not deal with individual sporting clubs within the Island. All sporting matters are dealt with through representative bodies who are elected to represent their respective sports. The JCA performs this role.

The 2007 Committee is as follows.

President: Bob Cabot
Vice-President: Chaz Knight
Secretary: Alistair Cann
