2003 AGM
The 2003 Annual General Meeting takes place at 8pm on Wednesday 12 February at the Western Rifle Range, St. Peter. Make sure you have your say in how the club is organised and be there.

Liberation Day Weekend Training
Why not take advantage of the long weekend around Liberation Day (9-11 May) and get in some training around Lamballe in Bretagne. It's only an hour from St. Malo so travelling is easy. This should be of particular interest to those doing the Etape du Tour and the Raid Pyrénéan as well as those wanting good times in the Randonnées. For more information ask on the club runs.

Jay Morris 1972-2003
February saw the untimely death of Jay Morris after he lost his battle against cancer. Jay was an active participant of the Jersey cycling scene for over a decade and will be missed by us all.

Dave Jardine is victorious in the 5 day Easter Stage Race, April 2003

Lancaster Mercedes Grand Prix, April 2003
Racing in the UK, Chris Spence acheived an incredible 5th place in the Lancaster Mercedes Grand Prix Premier Calendar over 108 miles.

MTB National Points Series Round 2 (22may03)

Malcolm Armes (May 2003)
Malcolm Armes was involved in a car accident while in France and suffered a broken ankle and finger. He's recovering in France but not yet fit enough to travel home. This comes at a bad time (is there a good time?) as he was just coming into form and was hoping to add the JCA 25m TT to his recent vet's Island Championships in the 10m and 50m TTs.

Southern Divisional Road Championship (1 June 2003)
Island Games competitors Chris Spence, Sam Firby, Ali Cann and Danny le Marquand, together with team manager Tony Richomme took part in the Southern Division Road Championships

Island Games 2003
At some point (although by now it seems unlikely), there'll be a report of the Games that took place in Guernsey. For the record, Sam Firby took silver in the road race as did the men in the team time trial.

Fund Raising Event (November)
The Club has always been a great supporter of the two main charity rides; Cancer Relief & the Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Trust but besides these two big events the Club organises a Come & Ride Mountain Bike day.This year under the direction of Colin Hidrio & Trevor Bertram we were able to present Jersey Hospice Care with cheque for £164.

Southern District Best-all-Rounder (Jan 2004)
Mike Harris is 8th in the Southern District Best All Rounder competition with an average speed of 24.413mph
