The committee would like to express their desire to see riders competing in club kit. The JCA in particular wishes to encourage the wearing of club kit during JCA events. Whilst this does not apply to club racing outside of JCA events, we would like to see riders adopting the sporting of club kit in all competitive races on the basis of the following:

1. Wearing club kit makes it easier for riders to identify members of their own team from those of other team riders in mass start road/track races to encourage and faciltate appropriate riding tactics.

2. Wearing club kit enables the general public to identify who we are within a competitive situation and this encourages riders to behave appropriately with consideration for other road users.

3. Wearing club kit promotes a sense of pride in the club you ride for amongst team mates

If you need more kit, get in touch with Malcolm Armes who has a large stock. Email him at kit@ccc.je or call 746078.

Many Thanks

The CCC Committee
