The first Rudi Project event is on Sunday the 28th
March in the Frome / Warminster area to the south-east
of Bath. Robin Ovenden and Allan Miller are going to
ride and as there is now a team prize for the series
it would be great if a third (if not a fourth) CCC member
can be persuaded to ride. Any 3 riders of any category
will count towards the team prize based on points scored
in their individual event---see CTT website which carries
info. Closing date for entries is the 9th March but sooner
rather than later to ensure acceptance. Other events
in the series earmarked at this stage are on the 10th
April and the 9th May---info. is already on
the website. Robin will be flying over for the first
race and I will take bikes on the ferry all being well.
Speak to Allan if
you are interested---other events may be ridden either
before or after the RP series depending on timing and
availability. |

2010 is the 75th anniversary of the club's formation and a number of events are being planned to take place throughout next year. To get this started, we have acquired limited stocks of retro club jerseys. The design is based upon one of Allan Miller's originals but, you'll be pleased to hear, made from the latest modern fabric. To get yourself kitted out, talk to Malcolm Armes at kit@ccc.je or on 515151 on weekdays or 746078 at other times. |

Would all competitors please note that it is their own responsible to know the course of the race. Furthermore, please do not approach the time keepers during an event. We appreciate how upsetting it can be to go off course, but please don't distract race organisers from performing their duties during the event. |
